IT業界でのキャリアを経て、障がい者支援施設で数年間勤務。その静かな日々の中で、人と人とのつながりの強さや、心からの思いやりの力を体感しました。その経験から生まれたのが、『光の継ぎ手』です。この物語は、静かな祈りが世界をやさしくつなぐという信念から生まれました。
以前には、日本語で『マナーの天使たち』という3部作を出版し、日常生活における気づきや親切さを軽やかに、そして思慮深く描きました。『光の継ぎ手』は、信仰やつながり、そして私たちの内にある光を静かに、深く探求する新たな旅です。
この作品が、読者の心に小さな光を灯し、世界に優しさと平和の輪を広げる一助となれば幸いです。

Noriyuki Ishida
After a career in the IT industry, I spent several years working at a care facility for people with disabilities. In those quiet days, I experienced the quiet strength of human connection and the power of heartfelt compassion. From that time came the idea for The Thread of Light—a story born from the belief that silent prayers can gently connect the world.
Previously, I published a three-part series in Japanese titled The Angels of Manners, a lighthearted and thoughtful look at awareness and kindness in everyday life. This novel, however, is a different kind of journey—a quieter, deeper exploration into connection, faith, and the light within us all.
May it awaken a small light in your heart.
